Permission to release of the paper under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License

The EuroGNC conference papers will be released under the "Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License" (CC-BY 4.0). The authors hereby release their work under this license. The authors are responsible for ensuring that their paper do not infringe copyrights. Authors wishing to include material, including but not limited to text passages, figures, or tables that have been published elsewhere or of which they are not the copyright owner(s) are required to provide evidence that they obtained the permission of the respective copyright owners for inclusion in the paper under CC-BY 4.0. Any material provided without such evidence will be considered as having originated from the authors.

Individual material can be included into the paper without being released in CC-BY 4.0. Such material needs to be marked with a proper copyright mention. We ask authors to use that exception as rarely as possible and to prefer, if available, materials that can be released under CC-BY 4.0 instead. Authors including materials that are not released under CC-BY 4.0 are responsible for retrieving and archiving the permission of the copyright owner(s) for including said materials under the terms mentioned below.

The licensing mention that will be added automatically to each paper reads:

"Except where otherwise noted, content of this paper is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. The reproduction and distribution with attribution of the entire paper or of individual pages, in electronic or printed form, including some materials under non-CC-BY 4.0 licenses is hereby granted by the respective copyright owners."

Remark (not legally binding):
The application of the CC-BY 4.0 license does not restrict from using the work later in a commercial context and will, for instance, not restrict the authors from publishing their work or part of it in scientific journal articles or in a book. It gives the right to diffuse the work and to re-use part of it (including for commercial purposes), provided that attribution is made, which is anyway a fundamental ethics rule in science. Our motivation is to provide clarity regarding copyrights and licenses to all EuroGNC papers, so that simple actions do not necessarily require to contact the authors for authorization. On the long term, authors might have changed job, their contact info might not be valid anymore, or they might even be deceased.

File upload
After clicking the "Check entries" button, the file upload for the short CV and the paper will be enabled if all required values (marked red) are set.
